The Vertical Jump (Headers) Drill

Heading is often overlooked in favor of other skills. Most coaches don’t explain proper technique and don’t give players enough practice heading the ball.
This is unfortunate because heading is extremely valuable. Players that head the ball well, will score more goals, clear the ball, and help their teammates win more possession in the midfield by dominating in the air.
This test demonstrates the players ability to gain the aerial advantage that’ll get their head on the ball before the opponent by height.
Strength, Agility, Flexibility, Mobility, Coordination & Balance are all factors called upon to achieve players best result.
